Carefully selected from our easy to braise chuck and shoulder cuts, these more affordable pieces are perfect for your chulent or a long-cooking soup or stew. This a great choice for your crockpot AND your budget. Since this cut is lean, we recommend adding about 1/2 oil to your chulent to keep the meat tender and moist.

Top of the Rib

This roast is very similar to brisket in texture and cooking method. Smaller than a brisket and a touch more tender, Top of the Rib can be braised or slow roasted and should be sliced against the grain.
